A Army captain is forced to lead a Cheyenne chief and his
family home.
This was an emotional rollercoaster. I was hoping for an
action packed western and after the graphic opening scene, I thought this could
be something very different. It’s a character piece movie about sins, lost of love
ones, and doing the impossible. With a solid cast it defiantly worked but the
best performance in the whole film was Rosamund Pike. There are a couple of action
scenes here and there but it’s more walking then characters sitting at a
campsite just talking. It may sound boring but they’re conversations are pretty
deep and have meaning. It’s hard to recommend
this to anyone cause it would either bore the person or make them feel
depressed. I think it was good but very sad to hear horrible events in the past
and nothing good happens in anyway. I understand that’s life but with a film
you can step out of reality to make an ending feel happy other than leaving you
wondering if things will ever get better. It’s a rental or just wait for it to
come on TV. Verdicit:6.9.
